This website provides useful information for UK nationals and their family members who were living in Portugal before the end of the transition period and how the UK’s withdrawal from the EU may affect their lives.

Key dates:

•   On 31st December 2020 at 11:59PM CET, the transition period ended;
•   As of 1st January 2021 at 12:00AM CET, UK nationals are treated as third country nationals (i.e. non-EU citizens).
